DUNROBIN CASTLE JIGSAW 1 B In my home country of Scotland,on the A9 road travelling to and from Orkney via Scrabster, you may catch a glimpse of Dunrobin Castle.
It lies on the north east coast between Golspie and Brora.
A couple of years ago I was discussing with my daughter the merits of travelling through that area and she mentioned the castle and that it would be a lovely place to stop and visit on the journey south.
On the two journeys, so far, that I have taken, I have had fleeting views of the castle from the roadway. It is a stunning castle.

Since around March of this year(2020) we are in the grip of the COVID 19 Pandemic.
As we comply to the Lockdown rules and Social Distancing Guidelines we find ourselves trying to get through each day safe and well.
How to pass the time indoors?
Having remembered that particular conversation I had an idea.
I bought this Jigsaw on eBay. It only cost me a few pounds. All the pieces were there and I spent many hours putting it together. The photograph speaks for itself.
If it wasn't for the conversation with my daughter I might not have thought about this jigsaw. What a treat!
